Mark has been our Compliance Consultant since 2012 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in the field of compliance for over 30 years. His career started with Natwest Bank before then working as Compliance Consultant looking after a range of IFA’s within the South West of England. His primary role is to ensure that the firm remains compliant with the rules and regulations that the business is expected to follow by our regulator.
As a Compliance officer, Mark ensures the highest standard of service is continually provided to our clients and ensures Lexington Wealth stays up to date with the rules and regulations from the Financial Conduct Authority.
To do my job I need to be as qualified as the advisers I oversee and know the industry inside out, therefore hold the appropriate qualifications needed.
I enjoy working with all the staff within the firm. From my perspective, it makes my job easier and more enjoyable when you work with people who are engaged with what you are trying to do and are always trying to improve and do the right thing for the clients.
When I am not supporting Lexington, most of my time is spent watching my children play sport. Ed, my youngest has taken up rugby and plays for a local club and is doing well. My middle son is a 2nd-year scholar at Bristol City FC and is hoping to make it in the professional game. I like to play golf (but in the warm) and holidays. My proudest moment was being selected to donate bone marrow ( I was on the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register) to a complete stranger in the USA to try and save their life.
